DBT TRAUMA THERAPIST

We are seeking qualified, dedicated professionals for our Phoenix and Mesa office. In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Conduct Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups and individual sessions for adults and adolescents

Complete timely documentation of services

Collaborate with other professionals in a DBT consultation meeting

Case management and phone coaching as needed

Conduct assessments or screenings with clients to evaluate the nature of their presenting problems in order to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plan goals

Develop and provide individual treatment plans; monitors, evaluate and document clients’ progress.

Prepare intake documentation, progress notes, case management, communications and other documentation regarding clients in accordance with established standards of practice

Implement standardized assessment tools to monitor progress in treatment

Treat clients for trauma along with DBT

Provide evidence based trauma services to youth and adults
Full time positions work a 5 day work week with 2 of those days until at least 7pm. Generous bonus structure available for this position.

Skills/ Requirements:
Applicant qualifications required include a minimum of master's degree in mental/behavioral health field and either possess a current license through the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or be eligible for licensure. Preference for this position is for Independently Licensed Clinicians, training and experience in DBT. Supervision toward independent license is available for this position.

Preferred Applicants will have several of the following credentials:

Independent License from AZBBHE (LISAC's must have another Masters level license)

Associate licensed applicants will be considered if experience and training in required areas can be demonstrated

Minimum of 2 years experience working in the behavioral health field.

Formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Fingerprint clearance card (required)
-
CPR/1st aid (required)

Training in other evidence based practices

Must be proficient with common software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, etc

Must be proficient in the areas of treatment plan writing and other clinical documentation
