Job description

At Arizona Center for Change (AZCFC), we are a proven leader in the delivery of behavioral health and justice-related services for juveniles and adults. We are seeking qualified, motivated clinicians to join our highly skilled and dedicated team of forensic professionals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings with adult and adolescent offenders to evaluate treatment needs and develop appropriate treatment goals.

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and document offense-specific treatment plans.

  • Provide group, individual, and family therapy for adult and juvenile offenders.

  • Facilitate coordination of care, including case reviews, therapeutic interventions, and treatment progress updates.

  • Utilize standardized risk assessment tools to assist with treatment planning and case conceptualization.

  • Collaborate with probation officers, case managers, referral sources, and family members to support a multisystemic treatment approach.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Work with a diverse caseload that may also include non-offender behavioral health clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a mental health or behavioral health field.

  • Current licensure through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE).

  • Independently Licensed Clinicians strongly preferred.

  • Bilingual clinicians strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Clinical supervision toward independent licensure available.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

Applicants should ideally have:

  • At least 2 years of experience working within the specialty areas identified above.

  • Experience providing treatment to adults and/or juveniles with histories of sexually abusive or problematic behaviors.

  • Working knowledge of evidence-based practices in offender treatment, including cognitive behavioral and motivational approaches.

  • Experience working with court-involved individuals and systems.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Strong candidates will demonstrate many of the following:

  • Independent licensure through AZBBHE
    (LISAC applicants must also possess a qualifying master’s-level license.)

  • Associate-licensed applicants may be considered based on demonstrated training and experience.

  • Dedication to preventing further victimization and supporting long-term behavioral change.

  • Ability to effectively manage difficult clinical discussions with challenging populations.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Reliability, professionalism, and consistency in performance.

  • Strong desire for continued professional growth and learning.

  • Understanding of forensic treatment and offender dynamics

  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness.

Job Type: Full-time                          Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

High end of compensation range reflects either addition of bonuses or Licensed Psychologist.
