Teletherapy :

"For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind."

Teleltheray

Teletherapy offers an innovative, convenient way of participating in therapy services without having to leave your home or driving all the way across town. If you decide you would like to participate in this service, we will ask you to sign an official consent form.

You, as the client, must be located in the state of Arizona at the time the teletherapy service is provided. Our licensing restricts us to providing the service in Arizona.

If you have a copay, we will collect the copay either before or after the teletherapy session by using your stored payment card on file.

At the present time, our teletherapy services are limited to video conferencing and not telephone.

We use a HIPAA compliant, secure video conferencing format. Security information for this format will be provided in the informed consent.

You must have a device that can support the video conferencing platform. Most smart phones, tablets and computers are fine for this platform.

Your therapist will be in a private environment, free from intrusions and distractions during the session. We ask the same of you.

It is best to conduct the therapy session using a headset and microphone. This cuts down on any electronic feedback or echoing that can occur when using external speakers.

There is no additional cost for teletherapy and is, likely, covered by your funding source. If you are a private pay client, the fees are the same as the office based services that are outlined in our fee agreement.

If you would like to get set up to do teletherapy sessions, please contact our office and our administration staff will help you get set up.
